Micro Needling

Micro-Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a device containing fine needles. These needles create tiny punctures in the skin's surface, stimulating the body's natural healing process and promoting the production of collagen and elastin—the building blocks of healthy, youthful skin.

  1. Stimulates Collagen Production: Microneedling triggers the skin's natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. This helps in improving skin texture and firmness.

  2. Reduces Wrinkles and Fine Lines: By promoting collagen synthesis, microneedling effectively reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, resulting in smoother, younger-looking skin.

  3. Improves Skin Tone and Texture: Microneedling helps in minimizing the appearance of pores, scars, and uneven skin texture, leading to a more even and radiant complexion.

  4. Enhances Skin Elasticity: Increased collagen production and improved skin structure contribute to enhanced elasticity, making the skin appear firmer and more supple.

  5. Reduces Hyperpigmentation: Microneedling can help in fading dark spots, sun damage, and other forms of hyperpigmentation, leading to a more even skin tone.

  6. Treats Acne and Acne Scars: Microneedling can be effective in reducing acne breakouts and diminishing the appearance of acne scars by promoting skin regeneration and remodeling.

  7. Improves Product Absorption: The tiny channels created by microneedling allow for better penetration of skincare products, enhancing their efficacy and maximizing results.

  8. Minimally Invasive Procedure: Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime, making it suitable for individuals with busy lifestyles.

  9. Customizable Treatment: Microneedling treatments can be customized to address specific skin concerns and areas of the face or body, providing personalized skincare solutions.

  10. Minimal Discomfort: While some patients may experience mild discomfort during the procedure, microneedling is generally well-tolerated, and any discomfort is usually temporary.

  11. Natural Results: Microneedling stimulates the skin's natural healing process, resulting in gradual and natural-looking improvements in skin texture and appearance.

  12. Long-lasting Results: With a series of treatments spaced over time, the results of microneedling can be long-lasting, helping patients maintain youthful and healthy-looking skin.

  13. Versatile Treatment: Microneedling can be used not only on the face but also on other parts of the body, such as the neck, chest, hands, and even stretch marks on the abdomen or thighs.

  14. Complementary to Other Treatments: Microneedling can be combined with other skincare treatments, such as chemical peels or laser therapy, to enhance results and address multiple skin concerns simultaneously.

What to expect?

Before the procedure begins, our provider will cleanse your skin thoroughly and apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment. Once the numbing takes effect, the Micro-Needling device will be gently passed over the treatment area, creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin. You may experience mild discomfort during the procedure, but most clients find it very tolerable.
